Online Workshops

At Marefat School, we offer workshops designed to provide a more focused and immersive learning experience for a small group of around 10 students. These workshops allow participants to apply and practice teachings in their real lives, fostering practical understanding and personal transformation.

Program Structure

Our workshops typically span 4-8 weeks, allowing for an in-depth exploration of a specific topic. During this time, participants engage in interactive sessions, discussions, and experiential exercises guided by experienced facilitators. The workshops provide a supportive environment where students can share their experiences, learn from one another, and apply the teachings to their everyday lives.

Experienced Group Head

To ensure a smooth and enriching experience, each workshop is led by an experienced group head. The group head serves as a guide and facilitator, providing support and navigation throughout the workshop. They bring their expertise and wisdom to create a transformative environment for the participants, helping them navigate their experiences and deepen their understanding of the taught topic.

Practical Application

The online workshops focus on practical application, encouraging participants to integrate the teachings into their real-life situations. Through guided exercises, reflections, and discussions, students can observe and transform their thoughts, behaviours, and perspectives in relation to the workshop topic. This hands-on approach empowers participants to create meaningful and lasting changes in their lives.

Emotional Awareness

Detail : Understanding and observing emotions, distinguishing between different feelings, and recognizing their connection to the mind while identifying their source within it. By the end of this workshop, we hope participants will develop the ability to perceive their emotions, allowing them to discern which actions are appropriate for each emotional state—and when it is best to avoid actions such as decision-making.

Parent & Child Interactions

Detail : What are the key principles of effective parenting? How can we nurture independent and confident children? What essential strategies contribute to their growth and well-being? And how should we handle moments when our children embarrass us?

The Power of Saying No

Detail : The ability to decline offers or requests that do not align with our interests is an essential life skill. Mastering this skill without experiencing negative emotions is crucial, as a lack of it can lead to both inner struggles and real-life challenges.

Calm Mind by Meditation

Detail : At Marefat School, everything is gained through experience. One of the simplest and most effective tools for acquiring these inner experiences is meditation Through meditation, we become able to observe the state of our mind and thoughts. Additionally, we can also observe the state of our emotions, energy, and physical condition

Anger

Detail : .In this workshop, we will explore the roots of our anger, why we experience it and how we express it while striving for a deeper, more mindful understanding of our emotions .We will also identify the early signs of anger and learn practical ways to navigate and transform it before it takes hold

Cognitive Flexibility

Detail : In this workshop, we learn how to be flexible and accepting in different life situations. In circumstances where a bit of flexibility and acceptance can help us overcome life’s difficulties and challenges with less pain

Food & Mind

Detail : Everything we consume—food, fruit, flavors, spices, tastes, and everything edible—challenges our minds far more in the process of selection than in the time spent eating. In this workshop, through various fasting practices, we will observe the mind’s reactions to food. We will engage in exercises to tame these responses and cultivate discipline in the face of indulgence and gluttony.

Laziness

Detail : In this workshop, we learn how to overcome our laziness and strengthen our willpower for the decisions we make. The exercises in this workshop are based on small decisions and permanent changes in life
